Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions about our cleaning services. I hope they will be helpful.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No need to sign a contract. We want you to keep us because you love us! We do ask you to sign a Customer Service Agreement which simply states that you understand our agreed-upon cleaning procedures and company policies. You may cancel your service at any time.

How long have you been cleaning homes?

We have been providing professional house cleaning services since 2003.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are insured.

Will I pay the same amount for every visit?

The initial house cleaning visit is typically higher in cost and takes us much longer to clean than subsequent visits due to the fact that we perform a deep cleaning of your home in order to establish a desirable level of clean. After our initial cleaning, your home’s level of clean can easily be maintained in less time with regularly scheduled visits. Future house cleaning visits are charged as a flat fee.

I have a pet.

We are pet friendly but appreciate your help in making sure pets are secured and safe on cleaning days. Our office should be made aware of any special requirements in safeguarding your pets. 
*Please keep in mind that we do not service pet beds, cat trees, nor pet crates.

When will you arrive to clean my home?

Due to a number of variables, we cannot guarantee the exact time of arrival. For your convenience we provide you with a 1 hour arrival windows.

Do you furnish the cleaning supplies?

Yes. We furnish everything needed to clean your home free of charge.

What should I expect on my first appointment?

We will arrive at your home and we will be equipped with all the cleaning supplies and equipment needed to thoroughly clean your home. Your first appointment generally takes the longest, as we will need time to get acquainted with a new environment. Subsequent appointments will move along faster.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

We ask that you pick up toys, clothing and other items before our arrival so we can focus our time and efforts on dirt and grime, not putting things in their proper places.

Will I have the same cleaning person each visit?

Yes. You will have the same cleaning professional for each visit. We know how important it is to have someone you know and trust cleaning your home. 

What won’t you clean?

For health reasons, our teams will not clean feces, vomit from animals nor humans. We also do not clean the blinds (only dust) and outside windows.

Do I need to be home the day of cleaning?

That is entirely up to you. Some people prefer to be home when we are cleaning, and that is fine with us since we would never expect you to leave your own home while we work. On the other hand, some people prefer to leave, and that is fine, too. Most of our clients simply provide us with a key, and we lock up when we are finished.

Can I skip or reschedule an appointment?

We require two business days notice to cancel or reschedule recurring service in order to have adequate time to fill the spot reserved for you. Less than the required notice will result in a $50 late cancellation fee.

How will you enter my home on my scheduled days of cleaning?

We leave this up to you, whatever you feel most comfortable with. 1. You may give us a key. 2. You can leave a key under a door mat the day of cleaning. 3. You can give us the code to the garage. 4. You can leave the door unlocked the day of cleaning.
 All keys are coded and kept by the owner. Before giving us a key, please check to ensure key fits the lock. 

What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?

We guarantee satisfaction! That means if you are not completely satisfied please let us know within 24 hours we’ll come back to redo the job free of charge.

Do you offer house cleaning gift certificates?

Yes. You can purchase a cleaning gift certificate for just about any occasion.

What do I do if I need extra work done?

Text or call our office 860-538-2280 at least one day in advance so that we can schedule any extra time that might be required

What if something gets broken while you are cleaning my house?

It is our utmost honor to be in your home, and because we wish to treat your home with the same great care and respect as we do our own, on the rare event that we do break something during the course of cleaning while in your residence, we will make every effort to repair or replace the item. For ultimate protection and peace of mind, WE RECOMMEND SECURING OR REMOVING any valuable or personal items prior to your appointment.

Our maids request to keep the home temperature between 68-72. Will this be a problem?

We understand the economic and practical reasons why homeowners raise the thermostat temperature when they are not home. We do ask that you consider the comfort of our cleaning team members and set the thermostat between 68-72 degrees F when your home is scheduled to be cleaned. We will call and ask your permission to adjust the temperature in your home if the temperature is uncomfortable for our cleaning team.

Should I tip my maid?

Showing your maid gratitude for job well done is encouraged and most certainly appreciated, but not required. Please be assured you will receive the same level of service each visit whether you choose to tip or not.
